This tutorial will take you through the software screen by screen and explain the different features. The interface of this software may change in the future so what you see may be slightly different then the current version but it should generally look the same.

Evaluation Screen

This is the evaluation menu and it is also the first screen you will see when using my software.

This screen gives you two choices.

REGISTER
By clicking here this will take you to the register screen.

EVALUATE
By clicking here you may evaluate this software at no charge. To continue with this manual click on Evaluate now and continue reading.

Menu Screen

Once you click the evaluate bar you will come to the main menu.

This screen gives you three choices.

NEW PROJECT
By clicking here you can create a new project. This is the first step to using our software.

LOAD PROJECT
You may click Load Project to access any previously created projects.

VIEW REPORTS
You may view the reports to any of your projects. It will show you the last time you optimized each site and the type of optimization performed.

Create A New Project

After pressing New Project you will come to the Create A New Project window.

To start creating a new project you will be asked to give the project a name. This name is only used to identify the project for your convenience and can be anything you like. In this example I used "My Project Name" as the name. Once you type in a project name press the CONTINUE button.

PROJECT NAME
The project name can be anything you like. Do not use any special characters such as $, %, or &.

Your Web Address

After pressing the CONTINUE button you will see the Your Web Address screen.

YOUR WEB ADDRESS
The first thing to do on this screen is to type in your website domain or absolute web address. The address needs to be properly formatted. Do not submit individual pages; only the absolute path to the homepage as seen in the examples below. Do not include the web address prefixes of http:// or http://www. when typing in your web address.

Examples of Proper Format (Good)
          Example.com
          subdomain.example.com
          Example.com/directory/

Examples of Improper Format (Bad)
          http://www.example.com
          http://subdomain.example.com
          www.example.com
          www.example.com/directory/individualpage.html
          example.com/directory/individualpage.html

CHOOSE YOUR WEB ADDRESS FORMAT
The second objective to meet on this screen is to choose the proper address format. This will typically be the first selection but in rare cases you may need to select another.

Example of Rare Case
Lets say for example your web address is a sub domain. For this example lets use products.seorulebook.com . You would select the second option of http://products.seorulebook.com since this is the proper format. Press Continue when you have made your selections.

Inner Page Settings

After pressing Continue you will come to the Inner Page settings.

Inner Page Detection
As the software is optimizing it will detect your internal pages for deep crawling capabilities. This is an optional feature and you are given the opportunity to decide if you want your Inner pages automatically detected or if you want the process to focus on your homepage. Its recommended you allow the software to detect your inner pages but for websites with over 1,000 internal pages I would suggest the second option (only promote to my homepage).

Press Continue when you have made your selections.

Your Website Keywords

After pressing Continue you will be asked to configure your website keywords.

This screen allows you to choose the keywords you wish to optimize your website with. There are two features you will need to learn on this screen. First how to add keywords and then how to remove them.

ADD KEYWORD

To add a keyword type the single keyword in the box as shown above were the given "TypeKeywordHere" example is illustrated and circled. After typing the keyword you may either press the "ENTER" key on your keyboard or press the Add Keyword button. This will move the new keyword to the box to the right under "Your Keywords".

Keyword Guidelines

This screen is only for single keywords such as "mortgage" and "home". Do not add keyword phrases such as "home mortgage". You will be given an opportunity to add keyword phrases at a later time. Also do not include any special characters in your keywords such as !@#$%^&(*/<>).

REMOVE KEYWORD

To remove a keyword click on the keyword in the box under "Your Keywords" as shown above. Once you click on the keyword you will notice the "Remove Keyword" button becomes available to click. By clicking on Remove Keyword the selected keyword will be removed from the list.

Press Continue when you have made your selections.

Search Phrases

After pressing CONTINUE you will be asked to provide keyword phrases.

Your Website Keyword Phrases (one word or more together)

This screen allows you to choose the keyword phrases you wish to optimize your website with. This feature works similar to the "Add Keyword" screen before this.

Keyword Guidelines

This screen is only for keyword phrases such as "Home Mortgage". Do not add single keywords such as "mortgage" and "home". Also do not include any special characters in your keywords such as !@#$%^&(*/<>).

Press Continue when you have made your selections.

Primary Phrase

After pressing Continue you will be asked to give a primary phrase for your optimization process.

Primary Keyword Phrase

This phrase is very important and many of the optimization tactics will focus to increase ranking of this phrase. This entry should be a phrase (two or more keywords together such as "Home Mortgage" rather then "mortgage". I would recommended a phrase of 3 words if your website is new.

Press Continue when you have made your selections.

Choose Geographical Search Engines

After pressing Continue you will be asked to select your country.

Choosing the correct geographical area is very important. If you wish to submit to the USA engines such as Google.com and Yahoo.com then click directly on the USA flag and press Continue. If you wish to submit to the UK engines such as Google.co.uk and Yahoo.co.uk then click on the UK flag to the right and press Continue. Once you click on the flag of your choice you will notice a gray banner over the flag that says SELECTED. This means you have proper selected your geographical area and you should now press continue.

Note: Support for other countries being developed so this screen might look slightly different in the near future.

Press Continue when you have made your selections.

Select Search Engines

After pressing Continue you will be asked to choose a few search engine and usage settings.

Use Spoofing Technology

The first thing you need to decide is if you will be using spoofing technology for the optimization. Spoofing is an alternative choice to using proxies. Our software has this technology built-in and you only have to check this box in order to use it. This technology will cloak your IP address from the engines and use a unique IP every time you connect to any search engine. This feature is highly recommended.

AVAILABLE SEARCH ENGINES

This is a list of the available search engines within the software. Click on the search engine to place a check mark beside its name. Every engine is optional and some are mandatory.

Press Continue when you have made your selections.

Optional Settings

After pressing continue you will be taken to the optional settings screen.

My Website Uses Cloaking Technology

If your website is using a script such as Search Engine Cloaker then please check this box. This will optimize the software towards tactics that work best with cloaking scripts and also implement tactics designed specially for sites that use cloaking scripts. Using this software on cloaked pages can be highly effective and drastically increase results of cloaked sites.

Use Optimization Tactic For MSN RankNet

This advanced tactic is designed specially for MSN and is highly recommended. This is one of the most lucrative features of this software package. Check this box to utilize MSN tactics.

Disable Error Reporting

Sometimes error reporting can cause the program to be less stable. If your software is having stability issues (runtime errors, automation errors) then check this box to disable error reporting.

Press Continue when you have made your selections.

Session Optimization Settings

After pressing Continue you will see the Session Optimization Settings.

These sessions determine the types of tactics to be used. Each session will include new tactics and methods for enhancement. Full and Professional sessions are recommended but new sites can benefit greatly from quick and basic sessions.

Quick Session

The Quick session covers basic tactics and is very quick. This will help your website be crawled by the major engines. These tactics include the MSN RankNet technology and IceRocket technology. This session includes 11 tactics.

Basic Session

The Basic session includes the Quick Session tactics plus an additional five tactics. These tactics will help improve rank enhancement. This session includes 16 tactics.

Full Session

The Full session includes the Basic Session tactics plus an additional twelve tactics. These enhancements will help your site's pages become more extensively crawled by digging deeper into your inner pages. In addition your inner pages will receive higher ranking and faster placement. This session includes 28 tactics.

Professional Session

The Professional session includes the Full Session tactics plus an additional eighteen tactics. This the perfect session for large adsense sites or revenue driven sites with many internal pages and a demand for traffic across a broad range of keywords. This session can take up to two hours to complete. This session includes 46 tactics.

Press Continue when you have made your selections.

Confirmation Screen

After pressing continue you will see your confirmation screen.

This screen confirms your session setting and provides the date of the last session started for this project.

Press Continue when you have made your selections.

Operating Screen

This is the operating screen. This process can take from 10 minutes to two hours depending on your session settings. During this process you will see the Session Progress bar start completely gray and continue until it is filled with blue squares. Once this bar is full then the session is complete and this screen will change. The program will initiate by detecting your site's internal pages. Once this is complete it will continue and the MSN RankNet red square will light up indicating the software has started to work.

The session progress bar also shows how many Cycles are completed. A session cycle consists of the completion of all six tactic categories. These categories are MSN RankNet, Alexa, Ice Rocket, Link Popularity, Suggestion, and Crawler Tactics. The progress bar also indicates the established time remaining as well as minutes elapsed.

As seen above; there are six major tactic categories. You will notice the red squares lighting up as each tactic is complete. In addition you will notice the progression bars will fill up as the tactic completes various tasks. Once the bar is completely blue it will move to the next tactic until all six tactics are complete. At this point the progress will start over again. This is considered a complete cycle. You will also notice a white status bar as seen above. This status bar tells you about the tactic category being performed as the process continues.

You will then notice a status bar at the button as seen above. This will tell you the duration of time it took to complete the last cycle.

The Abort button is used to abort the optimization progress. Aborting optimization only starts the process at the end of its cycle. All progress completed up until this time is still beneficial. I always recommended completing all sessions but there are times when this is not possible and you may use the abort button to end a process early.

The Optimization Process

For best results and stability it is recommended that you do not run other programs while optimizing and keep the program on-screen (don't minimize it). In addition it is best if you clear IE's temporary folders before starting a session. The software can be intensive and can cause your computer to lag (slow down). If your program is slow to respond then give it a few minutes to clear up. You can view the elapsed time counter to determine if the software is having difficulty. If you have any problems be sure to contact tech support.

This process completes on its own. You do not need to press any button on this screen. Be patient as the process takes time.

Press Continue when you have made your selections.

Report Complete

After the process completes the screen will change.

Post Optimization Report Screen

This screen indicates that the optimization process is complete. It will tell you the time in which the process completed as well as the cycles completed during the process. You can then return to the main menu to optimize another project.

Registration Screen

The Registration Screen allows users to purchase the software.

To register the software you must open the registration screen. As seen above, Your Registration ID is very important. You must either submit this ID with your purchase or email it to me after purchase at Support@SEORulebook.com .

Enter Your Registration Unlock Code Below

This will be the box you enter your unlock code into when you receive it from me by email. After typing in the unlock code (as seen above), press the CONFIRM REGISTRATION button and the software will unlock into the registered version.
